If you are looking for detailed information on the helicopter routes Sierra and Echo, look no further! Sound aircraft services have printed 8.5 x 11 kneeboard cards with the overwater flight path coordinates.

Fly the Routes – Save HTO

It is our hope that the helicopter pilots will help protect the future of HTO by flying all points precisely for noise abatement. For example the areas shaded in red (below) are noise sensitive and should be avoided whenever safe and feasible.

The Control Tower will advise pilots of traffic conflicts on each of the helicopter routes and will retain the option of issuing arrival and departure instructions as traffic permits

These procedures are not intended to preempt the responsibility of the pilot-in-command for safe aircraft operations. Recommended procedures are not intended to conflict with instructions from ATC

For complete route information please reference the Town of East Hampton website.

We want to send a big thanks to the helicopter pilot flying in Echo and departing over the Sierra route this morning! It is making a bit impact on reducing the noise for all the friends and families up here on the East End of Long Island. #SAVEHTO
